The spin-off RelTest Solutions from the Technology Transfer Institute of the Stuttgart University and the company Holland Innovative B.V. out of Eindhoven have signed a Letter of Intent for an intensified collaboration. Both institutes are planning to jointly organize Trainings, and Events around Reliability Engineering and Product Development.

Reliability training

RelTest Solutions, as well as Holland Innovative, is already offering a diversity of programs focusing on Reliability, Root Cause Analysis, and Data Science. By intensifying their cooperation, the institutes expect to improve the quality on both sides. In addition, the reliability training program will be expanded and offered in the Netherlands and Germany. The training is based on the VDI guideline 4002 and is certified by the University of Stuttgart.

The University of Stuttgart and Holland Innovative were collaborating together in several projects in the past. For Holland Innovative’s CEO Hans Meeske, the Letter of Intent with RelTest Solutions is a logical step: “We both work from the principle that knowledge should be shared as much as possible. This is – above all – true for our mutual expertise in Reliability. The world is changing at a rapid pace. In order to be able to keep up with this pace, it is important that engineers, as well as the management of manufacturing companies, are aware that their products are designed carefully and become as reliable as possible, meeting the expectations and needs of the customer. Our programs can help them to reach this goal.”

Technology Transfer Institute

Stuttgart University wants to have a role in knowledge and technology transfer and builds partnerships like the one with Holland Innovative to meet that goal.

“Some 3,000 scientists are doing research at the University of Stuttgart’s serving approximately 150 institutes. The researchers acquire advanced knowledge and develop many pioneering technologies that can be put to use in meeting critical challenges facing society, in producing goods more efficiently and sustainably, and for making people’s lives more comfortable. For the technology transfer to society the university founded the Technology Transfer Institute. Objective of this institute is to enable spin-offs from the university to provide their knowledge and new technologies to society. RelTest Solutions is one of these spin-offs and provides wide knowledge in the area of Reliability, Quality and Product Development”, said Dr. Dazer.

Stuttgart and Brainport Eindhoven

This co-operation will lead to new trainings, mutual projects and research program’s where we aim to connect also the eco-systems of the collaborating partners: Stuttgart and Brainport Eindhoven. In the upcoming Reliability seminar of 25 & 26 March 2021 in Eindhoven NL this will also become visible by partner contributions as well as an executive round table for knowledge exchange.
